Before starting with Dylan, I had experience with various structured training such as CrossFit, boxing, track and field but with those, came injuries. My goal was to initially work with someone who could understand the nature of my injuries and work on them while simultaneously pushing me to my limits, even if I was tired and wanted to give up.

I had been with Dylan since 2015 and 4 years later, I’ve seen my body become stronger, toned and more confident in myself. I’ve become incredibly comfortable with training on my own and taking initiative of my health and fitness.

Dylan is a fantastic trainer because he listens to you and goes above and beyond for you, answering whatever questions or concerns you have, no matter how often. He has helped motivate me in the gym, provided detailed exercises to do at home to help with various injuries I’ve had, listened to how I wanted to train and planed accordingly.

No matter how my goals changed during our time together, I always knew I’d get quality advice and guidance due to his level of commitment to his clients and his education.

Before Dylan, I was in a long plateau with my lifting. I was working hard but not seeing a lot of results. It was frustrating, and the truth was I needed help.

When I hired Dylan, that was when i started breaking through my plateau. I was able to hit my lifetime goal of a 500 pound deadlift, and I only keep getting stronger. If you want real results in your fitness journey, Dylan will make sure you get them!

When I started training with Dylan, he had the difficult task of getting me to exercise when I hated it. With time (and incredible amount of patience from him), I grew to love working out, and I even started doing various other training on top of training with him.

He always kept the training interesting by switching it up from strength training to doing more conditioning and interval training (ex. EMOM, TABATA, etc.). He was very flexible in switching up exercises if something didn’t feel right or I wanted to focus on something specific. He would try and incorporate some elements from other trainings I was doing to keep it fun (i.e. kickboxing, CrossFit, etc.).

On top of being very adaptable and approachable, he’s very knowledgeable. Whether it would be questions about mobility, or various exercises or different types of trainings, he would be able to explain it in the simplest way possible or would be able to point me to resources that would help me out.

In the 5 years that I trained with him, I went from working out once a week with him to training 3-4 days a week on top of training with him twice a week. His no-nonsense approach, adaptability and expertise are all of the reasons why I would happily recommend him as a trainer.

Working with Dylan changed my life. I lost over 50 pounds, gained mobility and strength, learned a tonne, and even stopped having lower back pain. Don't get me wrong: it was a lot of work! But Dylan was with me every step of the way to help me achieve my goals and beyond. I'm proud to call Dylan my coach and my friend!
